Mark Cervi

Mark Cervi, a Director with Zolfo Cooper, has 11 years of diversified business experience including over seven years in restructuring. He has provided interim management and advisory services to distressed debtors in both bankruptcy cases and out-of-court situations. Mark has experience in all areas of the restructuring process including working capital management, financial planning, bankruptcy reporting, claims management and the sale of assets.

Professional Experience

Mark recently served as a financial advisor in The Wornick Company Chapter 11 case. He was a key participant in the development of the short term cash forecasting methodology and the long-range business plan. Mark worked closely with Wornick and its counsel to develop the plan of reorganization and disclosure statement and assisted the company in preparing and submitting required reports to the court. Additionally, Mark was integral to developing and managing the sale process that ended with a successful sale of the company.

Mark’s other experience includes serving as an associate director of restructuring for the Enron, Collins & Aikman, and NRG Energy Chapter 11 proceedings. He has also served as a financial advisor in a multitude of smaller bankruptcy and out-of-court restructuring assignments. In each of these matters Mark played a key role in leading administrative initiatives to support the overall restructuring effort.

Prior to joining Zolfo Cooper in 2001, Mark was a senior associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he provided tax and assurance services over a wide range of industries including manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, high-tech, entertainment, construction and other services industries.
