Jesse Hermann
Jesse Hermann has more than 25 years of experience comprised mostly of running businesses as the CEO. His industry experience spans automotive, marine, computers and electronics, software, government construction projects, information services and distribution. He has run factories in the U.S. and abroad, overseen large engineering projects, led sales teams, structured creative financings in challenging environments and been involved in mergers and aquisitions as both a buyer and a seller.
At Zolfo Cooper, Jesse has worked on in and out of court restructurings with private equity groups to drive down costs and assess organizational performance. He has stepped in as interim management such as when he assumed responsibility for the $1.5 billion Americas distribution operation of a foreign-based manufacturer and stabilized it while hiring and training permanent management personnel.
Some of Jesse's experience prior to joining Zolfo Cooper includes:
- CEO of a manufacturer of automotive and marine switches and locks serving the original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with 850 employees in operations across the U.S. and Mexico where, after turning around operations, he delivered double-digit sales and profit growth
- Business unit manager at the Dana Corporation, then a $13 billion automotive parts manufacturer, where he re-engineered a manufacturing network by consolidating operations and expanded offshore sourcing, including integrating concurrent offshore engineering into the product development process
- CEO and founder of a distribution management software company for durable goods distributors with operations in the U.S. and India and installations in over 2,500 locations across North America
