Denise Lorenzo
Denise Lorenzo is a director at Zolfo Cooper with over 15 years of financial and operational experience, including nearly a decade assisting troubled companies. She is currently advising homebuilder TOUSA in connection with its Chapter 11 proceeding.
Denise has provided interim management and advisory services to distressed companies in numerous bankruptcy cases. She has particular expertise in advising management in organizing its resources and activities to efficiently plan, coordinate, and manage the Chapter 11 process and effectively communicate with critical stakeholders. Denise also assists management in improving operations, assessing financial reporting systems and internal controls, reducing costs and restructuring to rehabilitate the business.

Her clients’ revenues have ranged from $150 million to $2.2 billion. Notable assignments include the Loewen Group, ICG Communications, Metromedia Fiber Networks, Solutia, and Blue Bird.
Prior to joining Zolfo Cooper, Denise was a controller for a material handling equipment manufacturer.
